Dropping

I dunno what it is about catching air but it just makes me feel so good. It must be the adrenaline your body pumps when you go strait for 3o feet then jump of a ledge that fades behind as you jet into thin air and begin to fly.
These pillows provide lots of fun on a grey day, thanks to Zack for showing me the spot and letting me get creative with a few different transfer lines in this playground

Did I mention I like to fly.

Teli Turns

This year is my first with my very own teli skies, it has been a great time learning the new balance of telemarking. There is so much rhythm and fineness that the pure powder turns give you quite a sensational feeling.

Been feeling good enough to catch some air and drop the knee in some steep terrain. So far I have gotten away with just and occasional face plant.

Where Im at Now

These are the mountains I step into everyday when I get off work. I the front you see Fantasy Ridge, my favorite spot on Solitude. Behind that is Wolverine Circe, the first time I skied there I felt strangley at home as it reminded me so much of the Bowl on Mt Ashland. Then comes the Devils Cast mormons be ware. And off in the distance the mountains just seem to get BIGGER, I will find my way down that way in good time.I cant say quite how humbling it feels to be out there in the presence of the mountains, a small life force playing the with endless energies that snow creates.I must say a little Caldera in the back country hits the spot every time. Thanks to the guys in Ashland for hooking up Josh, he sent me out here with two cases of much needed local brew. I assure you it has found the bellies of many appreciative skiers.

Powder beware Im coming for you.
